Slovenia Hotels - "The art of meeting your highest expectations..."
Hotel capacity and classification are analogous to elsewhere in Europe, and more than one half of all those visiting Slovenia stay at hotels.
Hotels are classified into five categories: L, A, B, C and D. Class, L, A and B hotels have rooms with private lavatories; rooms in class C and D hotels usually share lavatory facilities, whilst rooms are equipped only with running hot and cold water. Rooms in class L (Luxury) hotels, and also in an increasing number of A class hotels are equipped with television set and radio. Hotels of these categories have at least one restaurant, an indoor swimming pool and air conditioning. Most hotel rooms in tourist resorts have balconies. Some B class hotels serve breakfast only. Hotels located at spas have special facilities for therapy, whilst many hotels have sports facilities and parks. There are two hotels in Slovenia located in the immediate vicinity of golf course.
Hotel rates are comparable to those elsewhere in Europe. High-season rates apply in the winter (skiing) and summer inland, and in the summer at the coast. Rates include a local tourist tax. Most hotels offer half-board (dinner, bed and breakfast) or full-board (dinner, bed and, breakfast and lunch) accommodation. The latter is particularly good value as it is generally only slightly more expensive than bed and breakfast.
